This is a good opportunity to let them know what’s best for their preferred treatment. You can give them packages then add them with your retail products for maintenance.  Pre Selling products will increase the longevity of their service. 

Upsell While Performing the Treatment

Of course, you can start a friendly conversation with your clients while doing the service. With this, you can easily build rapport and earn their trust. Make sure to focus your conversation on their problems or plans related to the service. That way, you can provide them the right products or treatments without being too pushy.

Upsell at the Last Part – Payment

You can give them additional offers or discounts like loyalty benefits, referrals, etc. This is also the best time to sell them your retail products to help them maintain the good looks of their hair or any of the treatments they availed.
